About the only one right on the water – remember it’s mud if it’s low tide! – lovely spot for a drink at high water. Recent feedback on food was mixed –‘slow and indifferent’ and also ‘enjoyed the pub food’……

"We sat right in the middle of a huge bow window overlooking the creek as the tide came in and the sun set. Pub grub (they seemed to specialise in fish dishes). A lovely atmosphere and an unexpected find. "
"Great position but food disappointing. Chips awful, whitebait overcooked and fish rather greasy. Would NOT go again"
Just goes to show that everyone is different. I hesitated putting on a rather adverse comment, but not everywhere suits all the guests and people do get a very different experience - on the whole the comments were positive.

"Great waterside pub - a really good boozer. Just popped in for a drink but the food looked like solid pub grub. A beer - battered fish and chips looked to die for and the hog roast might have tempted us back if it wasn't for a family gathering!"
"Good! Yummy food, nice booze, close to the sea. Quite busy but a vote of success, no doubt".
"Has the potential to be a lovely place but disappointed with staff and over priced food. Lovely location and barbeque good idea but closed early".
